Irrigation & Drainage Systems
Why it’s important
San Diego is fortunate to have sunny, blue skies more days than not. Unfortunately, this lack of rain creates a dry climate requiring use of water conservative irrigation systems and drought tolerant plant material.

How it works
Your beautiful landscape can be sustained with our expertise in water conservative irrigation and drainage installation.
Our highly skilled Project Managers are happy to advise and implement improved irrigation techniques using the most current technologies to support drought-tolerant gardens.
Tips for Saving Water:
- Select drought tolerant plants for your garden
- Troubleshoot your irrigation systems at least once a month to inspect for leaks, overspray and broken sprinkler heads
- Water only during off-peak hours (before 10 am and after 6 pm) when temperatures are cooler, to reduce evaporation
- Use mulch to reduce evaporation at planter beds
- Try not to irrigate more than three days a week
- Upgrade any out-of-date spray irrigation with water-conservative emitters
- Replace older irrigation clocks with wifi enabled irrigation clock
- Use a broom instead of a hose to clean driveways, sidewalks, and patios
- Replace lawns and ground covers with materials (gravel, DG or mulch) not requiring irrigation
