You will work with an individual designer. Behind the designer is the entire team of our organization with many years of experience. We take great pride in our knowledge of the local climate, soils and plant materials. We will utilize our extensive experience to create a wonderful and durable landscape customized to fit your lifestyle.

Our initial consultation is at your property and free of charge. In this meeting we ask questions to determine your needs, evaluate existing conditions and explore design possibilities. Based on this conversation we will submit to you a design consultation proposal including estimated cost.

The next step is to draw a site plan that will include the details and features of your property:

Site Plan

• Take measurements of the dimensions and features
• Study existing conditions
• Create a site map of all existing and proposed site features,
  such as:
  
  • Placement and dimensions of your home
  • Site boundary and fence lines
  • Utilities

This plan provides the base map on which to create the landscape design. From the site plan we will overlay ideas based on our initial consultation to create a preliminary landscape design. This is still a working document but you will see:

• General placement of trees and shrubs
• Sizes and shapes of lawns and specialty gardens
• Proposed patios, walkways and other features
• A list of recommended plant material

We will meet with you to discuss any changes, deletions and additions. We appreciate and welcome your detailed involvement. Once we are in agreement on both the concepts and the details, our designer will develop the final landscape plan. It will include:

• Specific construction features and layout
• Materials to be used
• Specific plant placement with size, species and quantity of plants

We will also include a detailed, itemized estimate for installation. You now have everything you need to begin the construction and installation phase of your landscape.
